Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support leasing, resident relations, and financial operations across our award-winning apartment communities. You will work closely with the Community Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, drive occupancy, and deliver exceptional service to residents.

The role emphasizes ownership of leasing processes, timely rent handling, and teamwork, with opportunities to grow within our Live It culture and career pathways.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years property management experience preferred.
• 6 months assistant community manager experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required, CALP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leasing by conducting tours and guiding prospects through the leasing process.
• Support rent collection and financial tasks, including renewals and reporting.
• Lead by example in the absence of the Community Manager and maintain team momentum.
• Respond to resident concerns with professionalism and empathy.
