Celtic Property Management is seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager for Sunrise Vista in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports an onsite team in an established community serving a diverse resident population, including SMI and affordable housing programs.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in HUD requirements, Section 8/voucher programs, LIHTC compliance, and strong leasing, rent collection, and documentation skills. A collaborative, patient, and professional approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in affordable housing property management with HUD compliance.
• Familiarity with Section 8/voucher programs and LIHTC requirements.
• Experience managing certifications/recertifications, income verification, and compliance documentation.
• Proven leasing, rent collection, and resident account management with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager with daily property operations.
• Manage resident relations, service requests, and customer service.
• Oversee leasing, occupancy, and notices to ensure program compliance.
• Ensure HUD, Section 8/voucher, and LIHTC compliance and documentation.
• Handle certifications/recertifications and income verification.
• Coordinate with maintenance and document property management system activities.
• Support reporting and overall property performance.
• Step in for the Community Manager when needed.
