Job summary

Pratum Companies is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to join our South Florida team with openings in West Palm Beach, Fort Pierce, and Fort Lauderdale. This full-time role offers $22.00–$25.00 per hour, a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days, and excellent benefits.

You will assist with HUD/Section 8 compliance, leasing, resident services, and day-to-day property operations, working closely with the Community Manager to maintain accurate records and ensure timely renewals.

Qualifications

• Experience with HUD/Section 8 recertifications and compliance.
• Residential property management experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and follow through.
• Knowledge of OneSite or Yardi or equivalent property management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with HUD, Section 8, Tax Credit/LIHTC recertifications and compliance.
• Schedule and conduct resident recertification interviews.
• Review income, assets, rent calculations, and required documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain resident files per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and manage the property waiting list.
• Assist with leasing, rent collections, and resident services.
• Build positive relationships with residents and prospective residents.
• Prepare and execute lease documents and paperwork.
• Assist residents with questions and resolve issues and lease violations.
• Coordinate inspections and resident information.
• Support the Community Manager with daily operations.
• Maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
