Job summary

Pratum Companies is seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead operations for properties in West Palm Beach, Fort Pierce and Fort Lauderdale. This role requires strong leadership, budgeting expertise, and deep knowledge of affordable housing programs to ensure compliant, high‑performing communities.

You will oversee resident relations, financial reporting, occupancy, and maintenance while guiding onsite teams toward service excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential property management experience
• Experience with Affordable Housing communities
• Knowledge of LIHTC and Project-Base Section 8
• understanding HUD regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience in occupancy, delinquency, budgeting and resident relations
• Strong financial reporting and supervision skills
• Ability to lead onsite teams and work with regional teams
• Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operation of the community with the team to meet financial, operational, compliance and resident-service goals
• Manage annual and interim recertifications and income certifications
• Prepare and manage annual property budgets
• Monitor expenses, collections and financial performance
• Maintain compliant, audit-ready resident files
• Coordinate maintenance and safety issues promptly
• Build relationships with residents and enforce lease policies
• Coach and develop onsite staff and foster teamwork
