Job summary

Pratum Companies seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support South Florida properties in West Palm Beach, Fort Pierce, and Fort Lauderdale. This full-time role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus, $22.00–$25.00 per hour, and robust benefits.

You will assist with HUD/Section 8 recertifications, leasing tasks, rent collections, and daily property operations while building strong resident relationships and supporting the Community Manager.

Qualifications

• Residential property management experience required.
• HUD/Section 8 recertifications and compliance knowledge required.
• Knowledge of HUD rules and regulations.
• Accounts receivable and collections experience.
• Experience with rent collections, deposits, and resident accounts.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and follow through on assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with HUD/Section 8 recertifications and compliance.
• Schedule and conduct resident recertification interviews.
• Review income, assets, rent calculations and required docs.
• Maintain resident files and waiting lists.
• Assist leasing, rent collections, accounts receivable and deposits.
• Build positive relationships with residents and prospective residents.
• Prepare lease documents and required paperwork.
• Support Community Manager with daily property operations.
