Job summary

Fairfield Residential seeks an Assistant Community Manager – Affordable to support property operations, ensure LIHTC/HUD compliance, and deliver exceptional customer service. Role includes mentoring leasing teams and driving resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have LIHTC experience and familiarity with Yardi; strong accounting, communication, and scheduling flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience.
• Minimum of one year of LIHTC experience.
• Experience using Yardi or other property management accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel; math and accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, process invoices, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Verify income and monitor rent limits for LIHTC/HUD programs.
• Lease apartments and respond to resident inquiries; promote satisfaction and retention.
• Mentor leasing team and support the Community Manager in daily operations.
