Job summary

Wendover Management, LLC seeks an Assistant Community Manager for Brooksville, FL, at Rochester Park, our upcoming 84-unit senior affordable community. You will be the front-line of hospitality, welcoming residents, supporting current tenants, and helping the Community Manager bring our vision to life on-site.

Responsibilities include leasing, event planning, and digital engagement to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as CALP or CAM are a plus.
  • Prior experience in property management is required.
  • Solid understanding of leasing processes and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management/maintenance software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage leasing and renewal activities to support occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Maintain accurate leasing files, applications, and documentation to support audits and compliance.
  • Assist with rent collection and track unit availability to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate on community events and resident engagement activities.
  • Coordinate digital marketing efforts across ILS and social media to support occupancy and brand visibility.
  • Coordinate with vendors and maintenance staff for timely work orders and unit turns.
  • Process invoices and support budget tracking and variance reporting.
  • Provide professional and supportive service to residents, vendors, auditors and ownership.
  • Uphold Wendover standards of quality, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with office staff on community projects or resident needs.

The position?

We are seeking an outstanding Assistant Community Manager to join our team at Rochester Park, our upcoming 84-unit senior affordable community located in Brooksville, Florida.

What are we looking for?

As an Assistant Community Manager at Wendover, you'll be the front line of hospitality and service—welcoming new residents, supporting current ones, and helping the Community Manager bring our vision to life. From leasing and renewals to event planning and digital engagement, you'll ensure that every interaction reflects the care and connection we value most. This role is a key part of the on-site team and works under the leadership of the Community Manager to ensure the community operates smoothly, successfully, and in alignment with our Wendover values and standards.

What are my responsibilities as a Wendover Assistant Community Manager?
Responsibilities
  • Manage leasing and renewal activities to support occupancy and revenue goals
  • Maintain accurate leasing files, applications, and documentation to support audits and compliance
  • Assist with rent collection and track unit availability to ensure accurate reporting
  • Collaborate on the development and execution of community events and resident engagement activities
  • Coordinate digital marketing efforts across Internet Listing Services (ILS) and social media platforms, optimizing listings, visuals, and messaging to support occupancy and brand visibility.
  • Coordinate with vendors and maintenance staff to ensure timely work orders and clean unit turns
  • Process invoices timely and assist with budget tracking and variance reporting
  • Provide prompt, professional and supportive service to residents, vendors, team members, auditors and ownership
  • Uphold our Wendover standards of quality, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction
  • Collaborate with office staff on community projects or resident needs as requested

Requirements
What do I need to qualify for this job?
  • Highschool or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Industry certifications such as CALP or CAM are a plus
  • Prior experience in property management required
  • Solid understanding of leasing processes and (LITECH for our affordable communities) compliance standards
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry‑specific property management and maintenance tracking systems, with the ability to accurately document, manage data, communicate efficiently, and support data‑driven decision‑making

  • Highly organized with strong time management abilities
  • A service-first mindset and the ability to collaborate across departments

  • What are the Working Conditions/Environment/Physical Demands of this position?
  • Air-conditioned office, well-lit and well-ventilated. High level of confidentiality (confidential information with regards to financial documents during the budget process, in-coming mail, e-mail, telephone calls, vendor contracts, and lender/owner information)
  • This is a full-time position and may include after-hours and weekends
  • General office equipment use will include, but not be limited to the copier, scanner, fax, computer, tablet
  • Physical demands will require but not be limited to the mobility to effectively work in a standard office environment
