Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support the Site Manager in daily property operations. You will ensure tenants receive prompt, courteous service, assist with rent collection, and help maintain the property's appearance and records.

The role requires strong communication, driving responsibility, and the ability to coordinate with maintenance staff. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities within TMAM Management.

Qualifications

  • Must have valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Basic arithmetic and record-keeping abilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and quality service to tenants, reporting issues to the Community Manager
  • Assist Community Manager with rent collection and record keeping, including banking trips
  • Assist with regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and overall property appearance, and address deferred maintenance data
  • Support maintenance staff with direction and guidance
  • Greet site visitors and residents and communicate professionally
  • Attend mandatory meetings and seminars; perform other duties as assigned by Site Manager and TMAM Management.

Achieving and maintaining as close to 100% occupancy as possibleAssist Community Manager with recertificationsAssist Community Manager with regularly inspecting the buildings, grounds, and physical appearance of the property, deferred maintenance, and other related data.Assist Community Manager with providing direction and guidance to the maintenance staff.Greet site visitors and residents.Assist Community Manager with Rent Collection and Record keeping, including frequent trips to banksPossess a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to TMAM for site errands, including trips to banks, stores and other vendors.Assist Community Manager with maintaining files containing written records of maintenance services, equipment readings, operating manuals, inventory and a library consisting of pertinent data relating to equipment and buildings.Assist Community Manager with purchasing needed supplies and equipment, within budget constraints. Maintain necessary administrative records of purchases.Assist Community Manager with site activities for residents such as special events and recreation activitiesAttend mandatory meetings and seminarsAble to communicate both orally and in writing using English and use basic arithmetic skills.Must have access to a reliable vehicle for transportation for errands from the property.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Site Manager and/or TMAM Management.
