Job summary

Elmington Living seeks an Assistant Community Director for Hillside Flats in Nashville, to help manage operations, lease activity, and resident relations. The role supports the Community Director in budgeting, compliance, and resident services at an affordable-housing community.

You will participate in leasing, certifications, and reporting, ensuring accurate records and timely responses to resident needs. This is an on-site, full-time position with growth potential within a dynamic property

Qualifications

• 1+ years of property management or administrative experience, affordable housing preferred.
• Working knowledge of LIHTC and/or HUD/Section 8 certification processes preferred.
• Experience with RealPage/OneSite, Yardi, Fortress, or similar property management software preferred.
• Fair Housing certification required within 7 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support management of the property's operating budget.
• Assist in maintaining occupancy at or above budgeted levels through proactive leasing and retention support.
• Support the delinquency process, including rent collection efforts and updating resident account notes weekly.
• Assist the Community Director with the eviction process when necessary, including follow-up with legal counsel.
• Support execution of the property's action plan and track follow-through on initiatives.
• Complete final account statements for move-outs.
