Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to support planning, execution, and oversight of testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects across the United States. Hybrid on-site with some remote work, you will lead commissioning teams, coordinate with cross-functional groups, and ensure safe, compliant, and fully operable renewable assets.

The role requires strong knowledge of power systems, HV/MV switching, and LOTO procedures, plus proven leadership in multi-project

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and infrastructure.
• Experience managing project teams and coordinating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team and provide guidance and training.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager on status of each project.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and milestones.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA to align activities.
• Develop and update integrated testing and commissioning schedules weekly.
• Prepare daily commissioning reports and track issues and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regs.
