Job summary

SOLV Energy in the United States is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to oversee testing and commissioning for HV, BESS and PV projects. You will lead the commissioning team, coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA, and ensure schedules, safety, and regulatory standards are met from prep through project closeout.

The role requires on-site presence at multiple job sites with hybrid remote work and frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commissioning experience on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA/NEC, IEEE/IES standards.
• Experience coordinating across engineering, construction, and QA teams.
• Ability to develop commissioning plans and schedules and manage risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning team and provide training and support.
• Report daily status to the Commissioning Manager.
• Develop project milestones, commissioning plan, and procedures.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers for equipment testing.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
