Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks an Assistant Commissioning Manager in California to lead planning, testing, and commissioning of HV, BESS, and PV assets. You will coordinate with engineers and field crews to ensure safe, compliant, and fully operable systems.

The role is full-time on site with travel, requiring daily reporting, schedule tracking, and stakeholder communication to deliver projects through completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and infrastructure.
• Experience managing project teams and coordinating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team, guiding and supporting tasks.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager on status of projects.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and milestone deliverables.
• Coordinate with OEMs on equipment testing and activities.
• Ensure integrated testing schedules are updated weekly.
• Prepare daily commissioning reports and track issues and corrective actions.
