Madison Reed in San Francisco seeks an Assistant Colorist to support Licensed Colorists and a Shift Lead, learning services and helping guests choose the right color. You will assist in consultations, shampooing, conditioning, and blowouts while aiming for promotion to Licensed Colorist within 3–9 months.

Role involves peak-time availability, teamwork, and a focus on guest experience in a fast-paced beauty environment. Compensation includes base hourly pay, commissions, and tips.

Competenze

• Active cosmetology license in the state where you apply.
• Entry-level customer service or retail experience; salon or beauty industry preferred.
• Effective communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced retail/salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems and fluent in English.

• Demonstrate teamwork to provide a guest experience aligned with company values.
• Assist in finishing services, shampooing, conditioning, styling, blowouts and color-related services.
• Contribute to achieving sales goals including retail, services, and memberships.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security standards.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, and procedures.
• Increase revenue through higher average service tickets and membership/subscription sales.
