Madison Reed is hiring an Assistant Colorist at our Hair Color Bar to support Licensed Colorists and the Shift Lead, delivering a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. You will learn the services, help guests choose the best color, and perform color-related tasks while developing behind-the-chair skills for promotion.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• Entry-level experience in customer service or retail; salon/beauty industry preferred.
• Effective communication, strong problem solving and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to provide a guest experience aligned with our values.
• Assist in finishing services and shampooing/conditioning, styling, blowouts, hot tool styling, treatments and toner per guest request.
• Help achieve monthly sales goals: retail, services, memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security in the Hair Color Bar.
• Follow Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
