Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is seeking an Assistant Colorist to support licensed colorists and the shift lead while learning the services offered. You will perform shampooing, conditioning, and assist behind the chair, assisting guests and building guest relationships in a fast-paced retail/salon setting.

Compensation includes base hourly pay, commissions, and tips, with potential earnings between $28–$30 per hour at this location.

Qualifications

• Licensed cosmetologist in the applying state.
• Customer service or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in behind-the-chair services such as shampooing, finishing, styling and add-on treatments.
• Support Colorists and Shift Lead to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Help drive sales through memberships, services and product recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory and asset security in the Hair Color Bar.
• Follow Madison Reed policies and procedures and learn color theory for future advancement.
