Job summary

Madison Reed in Katy, TX is seeking an Assistant Colorist to support licensed colorists and the shift lead, delivering a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. You will learn services, help guests choose color, and perform behind-the-chair tasks with care while training toward a Licensed Colorist in 3–9 months.

Compensation includes base hourly pay, commissions, and tips; at this location potential earnings range from $21.50 to $23.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state of application.
• Entry level customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in finishing services and shampooing; style and blowouts as requested.
• Support monthly sales goals and KPIs including retail and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory and asset security.
• Adhere to Madison Reed policies and procedures.
• Drive revenue through higher service tickets and memberships.
• Learn color theory and training toward Licensed Colorist.
• Provide guest experiences aligned with company values.
