Lake Superior State University is seeking an Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in organizing and administering the athletic program in Michigan. This role assists with recruiting, practice organization, game supervision and monitoring student-athlete academic progress.

The position also involves supporting conditioning programs, travel as needed, scouting, fundraising, camps and community engagement, as well as budget and administrative duties under the Athletic Director and Head Coach.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in organizing, administering and implementing the athletic program.
• Assist in recruiting student-athletes and in scouting opposing teams.
• Assist in organizing and supervising practices and games.
• Assist in monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes.
• Assist in directing pre-season conditioning programs for athletes; travel with the team as required.
• Assist in opposition scouting and game strategy as directed by the Head Coach.
• Assist in fundraising and promotion activities for the program; perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
• Assist in directing community service and engagement for the program.
• Assist in maintaining a balanced programmatic budget as assigned by the Athletic Director.
• Assist in the development, promotion and execution of camps and clinics assigned by the Head Coach.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or the Athletic Director
