Job summary

FieldLevel, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Volleyball Coach to support the Head Coach in developing athletes, planning practices, and preparing for competition within a competitive collegiate program. You will help recruit student-athletes and monitor academic progress to ensure success in and out of the classroom.

The role includes coordinating travel, supporting strength and conditioning, and promoting teamwork and sportsmanship across teams and camps.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous volleyball playing or coaching experience (high school, club, or collegiate).
• Ability to demonstrate fundamental and advanced volleyball skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and leading volleyball practices, including drills for serving, passing, setting, hitting, and defensive systems.
• Provide position-specific training (e.g., setters, liberos/defensive specialists, hitters, blockers).
• Recruit prospective student-athletes through tournaments, high school visits, and video evaluation.
• Monitor academic progress and promote student-athlete success in the classroom.
• Help organize team travel and equipment management.
• Assist with strength and conditioning programs tailored to volleyball performance (vertical jump, agility, injury).
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and strong sportsmanship.
• Participate in camps, clinics, and community engagement to grow the volleyball program.

Working Conditions/Schedule

Evening, weekend, and travel requirements during season and recruiting periods(Usually games Tuesday,Thursday,Saturday and practices other days at 3:30 except Sundays)
