Job summary

Sweetgreen in New York region is seeking an Assistant Coach (Assistant GM) to lead teams, drive operations, and deliver exceptional guest experiences with real food. You’ll mentor staff, partner with the Head Coach on goals, and leverage data from the Ops Dashboard to improve performance and guest outcomes.

You will oversee scheduling, food safety, and daily operations while developing team members toward future leadership roles within a fast casual environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant management/supervisory role
• ServSafe certification or Food Handler certification
• Experience managing and developing 6+ team members per shift

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and equipment standards
• Partner with Head Coach on goals, performance and schedules
• Drive sales and optimization using insights from Ops Dashboard
• Support daily operations and system usage for smooth execution
• Perform all essential functions from the Shift Leader path as needed
