Sweetgreen is seeking an Assistant Coach (Assistant General Manager) to lead a fast‑casual store, mentors staff, and drive operational excellence. You will partner with the Head Coach to set goals, monitor performance, and use data to improve guest experiences through real food.

You will oversee scheduling, safety, and quality controls, while delivering strong financial results and coaching team members toward leadership roles within the company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant management/supervisory role.
• Experience managing and developing 6+ team members per shift.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor the team, partnering with the Head Coach to set goals and track performance.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop staff while fostering a culture of trust and recognition.
• Uphold high standards for food safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance; address issues promptly.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by ensuring brand-aligned service and timely decision-making.
• Manage schedules and controllable costs; use Ops Dashboard insights to drive sales and long-term plans.
• Support daily operations and ensure smooth execution through effective system use.
