Sweetgreen is seeking an Assistant Coach (Assistant General Manager) to lead with heart, coach teams, and drive guest experiences using data-driven insights to build healthier communities through real food.

In this hands-on role, you will mentor staff, partner with the Head Coach to set goals, and balance operations, food safety, and guest satisfaction. You will enable growth, ensure strong audit performance, and support the store’s long‑term success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant management/supervisory role.
• Must be available to work minimum 30 hours per week.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and partner with Head Coach on goals and performance.
• Uphold food safety, cleanliness, and equipment standards.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences across in-store and digital channels.
• Manage controllable costs and schedules to support sales goals.
• Support career path duties from Shift Leader through Team Member roles.
