Sweetgreen in Culver City, CA is seeking an Assistant Coach (Assistant General Manager) to lead daily operations, mentor staff, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will partner with the Head Coach to set goals, drive sales, and leverage data from the Ops Dashboard to improve performance.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, food safety, scheduling, and staff development, with a pathway to higher leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant management/supervisory role.
• Experience managing and developing 6+ team members per shift.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team as Assistant Coach, partnering with Head Coach to set goals and track performance.
• Uphold food safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance standards.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by ensuring a hospitable, brand-aligned in-store and digital journey.
• Manage schedules and controllable costs, using insights from the Ops Dashboard to drive sales and improvements.
• Assist with daily operations and systems usage for smooth execution.
• Perform all essential functions from the Shift Leader role and related duties.
