Sweetgreen seeks an Assistant Coach (Assistant General Manager) to lead store operations, mentor staff, and drive exceptional guest experiences. You will partner with the Head Coach on goals, use data to navigate challenges, and ensure food safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant management/supervisory role.
• Experience developing and leading 6+ team members per shift.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification.
• Available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and partner with the Head Coach on hiring, onboarding and training.
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure audit readiness.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and optimize the guest journey.
• Manage controllable costs, schedule effectively, and drive sales.
• Support daily operations and ensure smooth execution.
