Job summary

Sweetgreen in the United States is seeking an Assistant Coach (Assistant General Manager) to lead and mentor the team, partner with the Head Coach on goals, and drive operational excellence using data-driven insights to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will support turnover, scheduling, and the implementation of short- and long-term strategies while upholding food safety standards and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant management/supervisory role.
• Experience managing and developing 6+ team members per shift.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and partner with store leadership to hire, onboard and train staff.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance standards.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and coach teams to maintain brand standards.
• Support scheduling and drive sales with data-informed decisions.
• Supervise daily operations and ensure smooth execution.
