sweetgreen is hiring an Assistant Coach (Assistant General Manager) to lead teams, drive operational excellence, and deliver exceptional guest experiences with data-driven insights. You will mentor staff, partner with the Head Coach on goals, and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes food safety, scheduling, and performance coaching, with opportunities for career growth within a values-driven team. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant management/supervisory role.
• Experience managing and developing 6+ team members per shift.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Partner with Head Coach to hire, onboard, and train staff.
• Monitor operations to ensure food safety, cleanliness, and quality.
• Manage schedules, control costs, and drive sales using data insights.
• Support daily operations and troubleshooting as needed.
• Execute Shift Leader career path duties when applicable.
