UG2 seeks an Assistant Chief Engineer to lead an engineering team, ensuring 100% uptime and high professionalism. You will manage daily operations, implement reliability-based maintenance, supervise staff, and coordinate contractors while safeguarding assets and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety training, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems to maximize value for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional education.
• 1-year certificate from college/technical school or 5–7 years related experience.
• Active Refrigeration Technician's license.
• Technical degree in HVAC or 5+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC and other mechanical systems.
• Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
• Supervise building engineers and maintenance staff; hire/train staff.
• Improve safety by identifying hazards and administering training.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain infrastructure documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and manage site activities within the building.
