U-Haul Richmond is seeking an Assistant General Manager to take on day-to-day center operations and support the GM. You will help allocate time and resources, guide team members to deliver a top-quality customer experience, and perform duties such as hitch installations as needed.

Pay ranges hourly with bonus opportunities and a rich benefits package. This role emphasizes leadership, flexibility across shifts, and ongoing U-Haul education and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
