Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director in Gilbert, AZ. You will support the Center Director, lead teaching staff, and collaborate with families to ensure high-quality early childhood education.

With our world-class curriculum and accreditation focus, you will help drive enrollment, strengthen community relationships, and step into varied roles as needed to support children and parents in our centers.

Qualifications

• Two years of early childhood education experience required.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children/parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
