Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead our center to success, working with the Center Director, teaching staff, and families. You will support enrollment, accreditation, and daily operations while upholding our curriculum and child-centered approach.

As part of our team, you’ll educate parents and staff on the value of quality early childhood education and help turn that value into real-life experiences for children in our center, with opportunities

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience and an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
