Job summary

Life Time in California seeks an Assistant Café Leader to support the Café Leader in delivering guest-first service, overseeing daily operations, and building a high-performing team. You will coach staff, uphold food safety, and ensure brand standards across all shifts.

This role blends hands-on service with people leadership in a fast-paced café environment, offering growth within Life Time and opportunities to influence guest experiences and financial results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of leadership experience in a fast-casual or café setting.
• ServSafe Manager certification or equivalent.
• CPR/AED certification; ServSafe Alcohol Safety if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Leads day-to-day café operations with a focus on hospitality and shift execution.
• Coaches, trains, and motivates team members to meet performance expectations.
• Partners with Café Leader to manage labor, food costs, inventory and financials.
• Supports hiring, onboarding and ongoing development of team members.
• Upholds food safety, cleanliness and Life Time brand standards on every shift.
