Great Lakes Credit Union in Berkeley, IL is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead service delivery and branch operations, reporting to the Branch Manager. You will champion sales culture, mentor staff, and drive member growth and satisfaction.

You will ensure compliance with regulations, coordinate with other departments, and contribute to strategic plans while delivering a high-quality member experience across our community footprint.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year tenure as a Sr. Member Specialist and/or Personal Banker.
• Proficient in all Retail responsibilities and completion of Leadership training.
• Supervisory/management experience within financial institutions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Passion for helping others and a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch sales and service operations to achieve goals.
• Mentor staff and drive member growth and retention.
• Ensure branch performance, profitability and staff accountability.
• Profile and cross-sell business products to existing clients.
• Align branch with strategic initiatives and monitor metrics.
• Handle complex situations with knowledge and creativity.
• Educate members on products and services; mentor others.
• Coordinate with departments to exceed member expectations.
