Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher
• 1-3 years of similar or related experience
• 3-5 years of similar or related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily branch operations including Member Service tasks (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, new accounts) and promote cross-selling of credit union services.
• Direct lending functions such as underwriting and disbursing consumer loans per established procedures.
• Assist Branch Manager with scheduling, evaluating, training and supervising branch personnel.
• Conduct interviews, evaluations and hiring for the branch.
• Communicate procedural and policy changes to all branch staff and ensure compliance with laws.
• Provide financial counseling and budgeting guidance to members facing concerns.
• Contribute to development or improvement of programs and services related to member service.
• Assist with questions and problems on member accounts and balance cash drawers as needed.
• Operate in teller and lending roles as needed to ensure excellent member service.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and member information and stay current with federal/state regulations.
