Job summary

Heritage Landscape Supply Group, Inc. in North Canton, OH seeks an Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) to support the Branch Manager in executing strategic plans, optimizing warehouse operations, and driving revenue growth.

The ABM will lead staff development, maintain strong customer relations, and ensure safety and compliance across the branch. The role emphasizes operational leadership, financial oversight, and collaboration with sales, operations, and administrative teams to sustain long-term

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a warehouse, distribution, or supervisory/assistant management role
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP or warehouse management systems preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass criminal background and pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to implement company standards and optimize warehouse/branch operations
• Assist in achieving branch revenue and profitability targets through sales strategies
• Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff including warehouse personnel and drivers
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and address inquiries promptly
• Collaborate on strategic plans to drive branch growth and efficiency
• Generate and review branch performance reports, including staffing and inventory metrics
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe work environment
