Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead and mentor our geotechnical and construction materials teams in the Mechanicsburg area. You will manage projects, develop staff, and strengthen client relationships while preparing geotechnical reports.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, has 10–15 years of technical and managerial experience, and will contribute to growth and business development across our national network.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering; ABET accreditation preferred if degree alternative.
• 10–15 years of technical and managerial experience in geotechnical/construction materials.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mentor geotechnical staff and grow the practice.
• Lead geotechnical and CMT projects and prepare reports.
• Engage in client and business development activities.
• Collaborate with CMT and geotechnical teams on projects.
• Senior-level review of geotechnical reports.
• Support marketing and outreach to expand the marketplace.
• Team building and revenue growth.

Position & Office Overview

Responsibilities

• Being a team builder with the ability to both bring in and do the work
• Developing staff and getting our name out in the marketplace
• Managing and mentoring of CMT/geotechnical engineering staff
• Working with both construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical staff and projects
• Senior level review and preparation of geotechnical reports
• Client and business development, as well as assisting other staff in marketing our services
• An affinity for marketing and business development
