Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Wilmington, NC seeks a senior geotechnical engineer to lead and mentor a geotechnical/CMT team, manage projects, and expand its marketplace footprint. A PE license and ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree are required, with 10–15 years of technical and managerial experience.

The role combines technical review of geotechnical reports with active client development and marketing to grow ECS’s national presence. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead geotechnical teams and mentor staff.
• Develop staff and raise ECS's marketplace presence.
• Manage CMT/geotechnical projects and prepare reviews.
• Collaborate with CMT and geotechnical staff on projects.
• Lead client and business development and marketing efforts.
• Oversee senior-level review of geotechnical reports.
