Job summary

The University of Michigan-Dearborn is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach. This role assists in all aspects of the program, including coaching, recruiting, evaluating prospective student-athletes, and handling public relations and administrative tasks under the Head Coach.

Candidates should meet NAIA and department standards. Responsibilities include student-athlete development, program compliance, and collaborative work with the athletics staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate level.
• Thorough knowledge of NAIA rules, higher education and intercollegiate athletics.
• Recruiting experience and knowledge.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Excellent computer and social media skills.
• Must pass a background check and departmental recruiting test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of the baseball program in accordance with NAIA, Conference and University rules.
• Coaching, recruiting, evaluating prospective student-athletes, and public relations.
• Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
