Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with two years of professional experience or Associate’s degree with six years of professional experience.
• Understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse backgrounds of Peralta College students, faculty, staff, and community.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, conditioning sessions, and competitions.
• Provide position‑specific instruction and skill development.
• Monitor and encourage students' academic progress, retention, and eligibility; promote sportsmanship and teamwork.
• Assist with game preparation, scouting, practice planning, and player evaluation.
• Support team travel, equipment management, inventory, and facility preparation.
• Promote a safe environment and follow risk‑management practices.
