Nothing Bundt Cakes in Nashville, TN is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver the highest-quality cakes, a warm guest experience and NbC culture.

You will help lead guest experience, cake production, brand and merchandise presentation, and team performance while supporting recruiting, training, and day-to-day operations. This role includes hands-on coverage and participation in events to promote the brand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or foodservice, preferably in a lead role.
• Demonstrated success coaching others and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience and models superior guest engagement.
• Leads all aspects of guest experience, cake production, brand and merchandise presentation, and inventory control with the Bakery Manager.
• Supports recruiting, selecting and training team members, directing daily work, and providing performance feedback.
• Ensures product, service, bakery environment, and visual standards meet NbC policies and health standards.
• Executes operational and administrative tasks, such as scheduling, inventory, and payroll processing, as directed.
• Co-manages special-order fulfillment for guests and corporate accounts, including large orders.
• Assists in opening and closing the bakery, including cash handling.
• Coordinates marketing activities and brand-building events in the local community.
• Maintains knowledge of bakery roles to support coverage as needed.
