Qualifications

• Six months bakery experience, required.
• Previous management experience, required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have nights and weekend availability.
• Must be able to stand and walk for eight hours or more.
• Familiarity with products in the bakery department.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise bakery production, pastries, and artisan breads.
• Evaluate problem areas and assist in corrective actions.
• Ensure cost control, customer service, merchandising, and product quality.
• Oversee receiving, dating, price marking and restocking for quality and rotation.
• Verify deliveries against vendor invoices and condition of items.
• Manage inventory to meet order fulfillment needs.
• Maintain department image, cleanliness, and customer friendliness.
• Develop associates through training, supervision, and rewards.
