Job summary

SusieCakes in Manhattan Beach is seeking an Assistant Bakery General Manager. This manager-in-training will inspire, train, and support the guest service team while assisting the General Manager with guest service needs for multiple locations.

The role is full-time and permanent, offering $70,000–$75,000 per year with benefits including PTO, holidays off, 401k, and more. Strong leadership in hospitality or retail is required to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Two years of managerial/leadership experience in luxury, hospitality, food service and/or retail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Ability to train, coach, and counsel team members.
• Exposure to financial and operational accountabilities.
• Ability to work in multiple regional locations.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs.
• Must have reliable transportation.
