Position Overview

Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations at Elizabeth City State University. Reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for all publicity received and sent concerning the Athletic Program.

Responsibilities

• Manage all publicity regarding the Athletic Program.

Qualifications

• Self‑motivated, creative, and organized with an ability to direct and perform detailed work with accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups.
• Computer proficiency and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop.
• Ability to travel with teams and work evening and weekend hours when required.
• Experience with StatCrew software and website administration.
• Knowledge of CIAA/NCAA and University policies and procedures.
• Leadership and motivational skills.
• Capability to work in a fast‑paced environment with little supervision.
