Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina seeks an Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations to oversee publicity for the Athletic Program and coordinate external communications across press, social media, and internal channels.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing and design skills, experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), and be willing to travel with teams, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with related experience at an institution of higher learning.
• Ability to travel with teams and work evenings and weekends when required.
• Experience with StatCrew software and website administration.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of CIAA/NCAA policies and procedures.
• Leadership and motivational skills.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
• Ability to lift, carry, and set up equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
