Assistant/Associate Procurement Specialist

Job Description

Digital & Technology (D&T) Procurement manages all global technology sourcing activities for Abercrombie & Fitch. The D&T Associate Procurement Specialist is a key contact within the source-to-pay process, facilitating supplier relationship processes and driving continuous improvements. We seek a highly organized, curious self-starter with strong critical thinking skills, flexibility, and agility in a fast-paced, digitally-led environment. This role requires excellent relationship-building skills and coordination with business partners, stakeholders, and strategic suppliers.

This position is based at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Engage in direct communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and D&T teams to negotiate contracts
  • Facilitate supplier onboarding and third-party risk reviews
  • Support sourcing events for Category Managers
  • Identify opportunities to improve payment terms and incentives
  • Assist with category/portfolio administration and reporting
  • Manage contract administration and records
  • Research and resolve invoice and payment issues
  • Continuously seek process improvements and efficiencies

What Do You Need To Bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong partnerships
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and creative problem solver
  • Ability to handle sensitive vendor data confidentially
