Job summary

HUB International in Bayside, NY is seeking an Assistant Account Executive to support Senior Account Executives with daily client management issues such as claims, eligibility, and service issues while training to manage a book of business.

The role requires at least 1 year in Employee Benefits, a Life & Health license is a plus, and a 4-year degree or equivalent experience. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Employee Benefits insurance environment.
• Valid Life & Health License is a plus.
• 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Superb attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Korean language proficiency preferred.
• Knowledge of Mandarin or Cantonese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Account maintenance and updates to client files and plan documents.
• Prepare Annual Notice packets for clients.
• Request, track, and upload Schedule As for client 5500 filings.
• Assist with marketing proposals, paperwork, and presentation preparation.
• Revise, edit, and bind presentation materials as needed.
• Prepare open enrollment materials.
• Assist with open enrollment meetings and client meetings as necessary.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and clients.
• Assist clients and Executives with creating client websites using HRConnections.
• Work on other projects as assigned.
