Job summary

TeamSoft is seeking an Asset Technician to manage physical technology assets at Madison College’s Technology Services hardware depot. You will handle full lifecycle asset management from inbound receiving and barcoding to district‑wide deployment and incident response support.

Responsibilities include inventory control, hardware deployment, and ongoing process improvements. This is a long-term, 100% on-site engagement in Madison, WI, requiring strong IT support skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of IT/customer support experience.
• Two+ years in asset management in a medium-to-large environment (500–2,000 workstations).

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate inventory management system for tracking all District technology assets.
• Organize deployment, logistics and asset distribution across the district.
• Respond to incident tickets and perform hardware maintenance or replacements.
• Perform root-cause analysis and share lessons learned for process improvements.
• Receive inbound shipments and tag assets with IDs/barcodes, updating records.
