Job summary

Volvo Financial Services, based in Greensboro, NC, seeks an Account Resolutions professional to manage delinquent accounts and protect financed assets. You will collaborate with credit, customer service, remarketing and legal teams to safeguard collateral and optimize recoveries.

This on-site role requires 1–2 years in asset recovery or related fields, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years progressive asset recovery, collections or repossession in finance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with other business areas and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective interpersonal skills with customers, dealers and sales force to manage accounts and relationships.
• Negotiation experience handling difficult conversations.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations incl. FDCPA guidelines for collections and repossessions.
• Strong PC skills (MS Office).
• Good financial counseling skills and ability to communicate need to pay Volvo Financial Services.
• High integrity and customer-focused perspective; team-oriented.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Self-starter and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support the Account Resolutions Team Manager in all phases of retail account management and asset protection for VFS USA Trucks, Construction Equipment and Coach Portfolios.
• Manage a partial block of delinquent customers and protect/secure assets in default of contractual obligations.
• Work cross-functionally with credit, customer service, remarketing, end of term, special assets, accounting, sales, legal and capital markets resources.
