Nordstrom is seeking an Asset Protection Agent to safeguard customers, teams, and merchandise. You will work with the store Emergency Response Team, prevent shrinkage, investigate incidents, and support security operations.

Responsibilities

• Resolve theft with sound judgment and proper apprehensions.
• Identify theft trends using surveillance, reporting, and technology.
• Drive shrinkage reduction through action plans and standards.
• Support internal theft investigations with evidence gathering.
• Use video systems to monitor activity and aid investigations.
• Leverage RFID data to track merchandise movement.
• Maintain safety and security of customers and staff; respond to incidents.
• Lead security audits and shrinkage awareness within the store.
• Participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) and training.
• Prepare and submit reports for incidents and investigations.
• Testify in court as needed.
• Build partnerships with store leadership, retailers, and law enforcement.
