Job summary

Sephora in Avon, IN seeks an Asset Protection Associate to safeguard employees and assets in our distribution network. You will manage physical security, access controls, screening, and incident response to protect shipments and personnel.

You’ll work with CCTV, alarms, and card access while supporting investigations and shrink-reduction initiatives. Strong communication and de-escalation skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in Loss Prevention or security, preferably in a fast-paced DC environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; strong communication skills.
• Ability to make rapid, sound decisions and stay composed under pressure.
• Proficient in CCTV, alarm, and access control systems; MS Office.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee physical security and access controls across all DC zones.
• Screen inbound/outbound personnel and monitor with metal detectors and CCTV.
• Inspect perimeters and internal controls; address vulnerabilities.
• Respond to threats with de-escalation and, if needed, physical intervention.
• Manage badgeing system and associate access credentials.
• Control inbound/outbound truck processes; maintain logs.
• Support theft investigations using CCTV and logs.
• Contribute to shrink reduction programs and security audits.
• Represent Sephora professionally in any required legal proceedings.
• Lead security projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
