Job summary

Sephora Distribution Center in Avon, IN is hiring an Asset Protection Associate to safeguard employees and assets within a fast-paced DC. You will manage access controls, screen personnel, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents while coordinating with security teams to protect the facility.

The role requires 1–2 years in Loss Prevention or security, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours; physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Loss Prevention or security.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and monitor comprehensive physical security across all DC zones.
• Execute screening procedures for inbound/outbound personnel using metal detectors and handheld devices.
• Inspect property perimeters and internal controls to address vulnerabilities.
• Respond to active threats or security incidents with de-escalation and, if needed, physical intervention.
• Administer the facility's identification badge system and manage access credentials.
• Oversee inbound/outbound truck control processes and maintain logs for supply chain integrity.
• Support investigations with CCTV footage and evidence collection.
• Contribute to shrink reduction programs and security awareness among associates.
• Represent the company professionally in legal proceedings and provide testimony as needed.
• Perform security audits and communicate insights for continuous improvement.
• Lead and support special security projects and initiatives.
