Job summary

Sephora Distribution Centers is seeking an Asset Protection Associate in Avon, IN. You will safeguard employees and assets, maintain security, perform access control, and respond to incidents using CCTV and de‑escalation skills.

Requirements include 1–2 years in Loss Prevention or security, a High School diploma, strong communication, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexible scheduling. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of dedicated experience in Loss Prevention or security.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to make rapid decisions under pressure and maintain composure.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage physical security and access controls across the DC.
• Conduct screening procedures for inbound/outbound personnel with detectors and visual checks.
• Inspect property perimeters and internal controls to identify vulnerabilities.
• Respond swiftly to threats or incidents, using de-escalation and, if needed, physical intervention.
• Administer identification badging and manage access credentials.
• Oversee inbound/outbound truck control, verify appointments, and maintain logs.
• Support investigations using CCTV footage and evidence gathering.
• Contribute to shrink-reduction programs and awareness among associates.
• Represent the company professionally in all legal proceedings as required.
• Perform security audits and communicate findings to leadership.
• Lead and support special security projects and initiatives.
